This is the story of a disappearance. That of a man who, during the summer of 2008, burnt with his house and the adjoining forest. The blaze consumed acres and the only article recovered was a book by the Swiss writer Robert Walser : "The Walk". Thus begins an investigation which while attempting to retrace the entwined steps of a reader and his author, stumbles upon this question : How to refuse to appear without disappearing ?
"A.R.W." is a cinematic essay about the writer Robert Walser.
