The decor : a sweat filled boxing club in a Parisian suburb. For them, this hell represents heaven. These men, men from different generations, different backgrounds, tell us with force and tenderness what they have been deprived of and what they've managed to grab with their fists.
Beyond the Avia Club, and beyond boxing even, this film provides a beautiful contemplation on life. It provides an alternative look at delinquency, boredom and integration. With irony and intimacy, the boxers in this film tell us how to stand an our own two feet.
