The film consists of a series of interventions by young people from various countries in Africa and Asia. Every year, thousands of young people leave their families and hit the road. They are between 13 and 15 years old. They are called "migrants", "refugees", "exiles", or other generic names that do not correspond to any reality. They wander from country to country, crossing deserts. Work for a meal for unscrupulous bosses. Some try to cross the Mediterranean to reach the European and French coasts. Thousands are dying there.
Some survivors of this senseless journey tell us: What makes us one day leave? What are they thinking about when they leave? What are they dreaming about on this trip? It is the first part of a trilogy. This movie let talk boys. The second will be with girls. And the third all together, a cross-section of views on adapting to life in Europe, their dreams for the future…
