A group of social workers in Vaulx-en-Velin concerned with young underprivileged immigrants, examines the attitude of these young people to thr problem of AIDS and its prevention. They invited me to see their work with a group of nineteen-year-olds.
This film shows the attempts to dialogue with these young people. We wanted to know what they say about AIDS and the cultural, social and economic background of that talk. We wanted to follow each one’s reasoning without restricting all the possible interpretations and without making the speakers say anything more than they told us and without presuming to draw conclusions.
