To committing himself to the search of music's true interpretation a musician is rewarded by the discovery of its essence.
This musical treasure is only available to those who have the keys to the musical world. The uninitiated must, therefore, find a guide who will open these doors with passion and intelligence.
One doesn't have to be a musician on a complex and magnificant path along which he will eventually discover the music that everybody carries within oneself, beyond the mysteries of the partition.
Under the direction of a remarkable musician, Mrs Andrée Loew, we observe the work in progress of four young girls (a semi-professional quartet), from deciphering the partition to understanding its interpretation, the 1st and 3rd movements from Franz Schubert's "Opus 29".
With each new rehearsal the work amplifies and deepens : Andrée Loew invests herself to such an extent that the young musicians are able to feel what they have to look for, and what they must avoid. Her discourse is astonishing, sometimes baffling, always fascinating.
