In order to motivate their pupils more, the teachers at Rivoli primary school, in a difficult district of La Roche-sur-Yon have decided to embark on some ambitious projects with them and their families.
This year the children in the older classes are going to find out a lot about mountains. This will be included in the teaching of all subjects from the moment school starts again in September and will continue until June when they will go to Chamonix and face the mountains there.
The film recounts school life as it centres round this adventure.
