Les Films de la pluie is a documentary film production company based in Logonna-Daoulas in the department of Finistère. I created it in June 2014. Producer and manager, I have the strong desire to get involved in my territory by producing films by Breton filmmakers, but also by supporting films made further afield, for instance in Africa where I regularly work with young filmmakers.
This double identity has led me to frequently develop projects in co-production with companies in other French regions (Ana Films in Strasbourg, L’image d’après in Tours, Adala Films in Nîmes, En Quête Prod in La Réunion) or other countries (Imasoa Film in Madagascar, Pilumpiku Production in Burkina Faso…). Each co-production is an opportunity to discuss the artistic accompaniment of films and discover different ways of working.
After four years of existence, the company has constructed a catalogue of six films with a dozen films currently in production, coproduced with broadcasters like France Télévisions, Lyon Capitale TV, local stations in Britanny, TV78, Vosges Télévision.
Its most recent production, A Sense of Place, will be distributed in cinemas by DHR Distribution in the Spring of 2019.
Les Films de la pluie is an active member of several professional associations, such as Films en Bretagne and Lumière du monde.
