After graduating with a Master’s degree in documentary film direction from the University of Poitiers, I joined the team at TS Production in 2002. The company founded by Miléna Poylo and Gilles Sacuto to produce fiction features for the cinema screen opened up to documentary in 2000 with the film Le Dernier Navire, directed by Jean-Marc Moutout before his feature Violence des échanges en milieu tempéré. I became head of the documentary division in 2005 and have produced some thirty films for the cinema and television within the company.
The documentary service was strengthened by the arrival of Delphine Morel in 2009, which allowed the production policy to diversify: projects include both creative documentaries and documentaries scripted for quality television, such as the film by Antarès Bassis and Pascal Auffray En équilibre, co-produced with France 3 Occitanie, which won the Fipa d’or award this year.
An essential part of our work is to accompany authors by helping them assert their vision and style as they move from film to film. Les Petits Maîtres du grand hôtel by Jacques Deschamps is an example of this continuing collaboration. Oscillating between documentary and musical, the film plunges us into the heart of the apprenticeship of students in applied hotel skills at the professional high school in Grenoble.
