As a meeting point, a place of immersion and exploration, Lussas has achieved world recognition as an event appreciated for its maturity, with a twenty-ninth edition that promises once again a series of fascinating journeys. From Ardèche to the globe, via Poland, Lebanon, the United Kingdom, Germany, the frontiers crossed – be they physical or cinematographic – will once again this year be numerous, in keeping with the decidedly inexhaustible richness of documentary film...
For documentary film teaches, transmits, reveals, explains, uncovers, explores, enlightens, presents, represents, invites, shocks, awakens, upsets... It is like an audiovisual Swiss army knife, an alphabet which all by itself opens up the riches of cinematographic creation.
It can do all that at the same time and that is what makes it unique – just like the Lussas États généraux.
