In its twenty-fifth edition, the Lussas États généraux du film documentaire continues its determined support of creative documentary.
Around projections, panels and meetings with professionals, this major summer event with neither award nor prize has been labouring for a quarter of a century to promote the viewing of high quality film production.
Adopting an original and highly diversified form that constitutes its identity, this festival appears once again as a field of experimentation, proposing reflection on the "ghosts of history" as much as on the present world in movement, through a perspective on the evolution of contemporary documentary.
The Ardèche Conseil général has supported this event for many years already. It is an integral part of our cultural policy which aims at promoting and developing visual arts, and its impact has carried our renown well beyond our borders
That is why we have decided, like the Ministry of Culture and the Rhône-Alpes region, to reinforce the financial support we provide to the association Ardèche Images which does remarkable work. We will, in addition, pay particular attention to its project of a documentary village at Lussas.
