One produces a great deal, the other produces less. One lives and works in a country, France, producing annually more than two thousand documentaries for or with television; the other tries to survive in a country where entertainment dominates all other forms, Italy.
Les Films d'Ici and Zenit Arti Audiovisive of Turin have co-produced three films, two originating in Italy and one in France, the three conceived from the particular and talented skills developed by the associates at Zenit.
How does one work together given all these differences, how do we choose each other and with what aim? What analysis of one's own skills, production conditions within one's own country, its artistic and financial potential do we make when we search out the other?
